Full Moon is a culmination of what we started around the time of the New Moon. With the Full Moon energy embracing qualities of the Goat, we are pushed even harder to finish what we started at the beginning of the lunar cycle.
This Full Moon will ask us to acknowledge what we have obtained, what has yet to be achieved and what adjustments need to be made moving forward.
Capricorn Full Moon is about success, not taking “no” for an answer and tackling obstacles that may lie in the way.
During this time, the Moon in Capricorn faces the Sun in Cancer- both of these signs associate with security, but seek it in different ways. Capricorn is focused on accomplishment of external goals and Cancer wants to search for comfort and safety within the confines of feeling.
This Full Moon will ask us to find the balance that exists within the two sides of security.
The Summer Solstice is the the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and considered the first day of Summer. It marks the day when the Sun is at its highest point in the sky and is truly a celebration of not only the Sun but the Light. During the Summer Solstice we are encouraged to reflect upon relationships with others and within the self. What are your long term goals? What does your heart yearn for? This is the time to cultivate your seeds, nurturing all that you are now planting with an open heart. Remember that with the Solstice comes a turning of the Wheel and we are now slowly making our way towards the the darkness- each day growing closer to our deepest selves- Embrace change and walk in faith.
During the Summer Solstice, we welcome the onset of Cancer Season. Cancer is a deep, emotional, nurturing sign, but during this transit- things can get overly emotional or moody. Cancer is an intaking sign and is connected to the 4th House of Home and Family. Ties to the past, our loved ones and our desire to nurture others will come into play. This is a time of heightened emotional sensitivity- when we can rebalance our heart and head after the expanding mental capacity of Gemini. Cancer will ask us to dive into our vulnerabilities and look to where the past may be keeping us stuck in a loop. Nurturing activities like gardening or cooking are great ways to deepen the connection with Mother energy.
On this same day- Jupiter turns Retrograde. The energy of Jupiter Retrograde lasts typically about four months. Jupiter is he planet of expansion, luck and joy. It also represents abundance, travel and philosophy. With Jupiter in retrograde, we are asked to dive deeply into philosophical and spiritual introspection. Jupiter travels through two signs during this retrograde, Pisces and Aquarius. Pisces energy could leave us feeling dazed and confused- perhaps overall optimistic about situations that are not what they seem. Once Jupiter transits back into Aquarius, additional details will bring clarity; however this clarity may not be what we hoped for- it is important to remember to ask what the lesson is- instead of getting stuck in emotional entanglements.
Eclipse season is a very karmic period: during this time of the year, we experience fated events and situations that have the purpose of speeding up our evolutionary pace and help us move forward in our growth journey. Sometimes, the process is uncomfortable and we don’t understand it fully while we are deep into it. With time, we develop more objectivity: looking back, everything gets clearer.
Solar Eclipses are supercharged New Moons that mark potent new beginnings and invite us to set clear intentions around what we desire to cultivate and focus on.
The Solar Eclipse in Gemini is happening on the North Node of the Moon and invites us to welcome the future- opening a new chapter- new paths and learning opportunities.
Sun and Moon are conjunct Mercury (the planetary ruler of Gemini) and Mercury remains square to Neptune in Pisces. The tense alignments to Neptune will continue to make it difficult to see the big picture with clarity. With the Sun and Moon squaring Neptune- our emotional sensitivity will be amplified- however discernment is critical- focus on maintaining energetic boundaries and maintaining an objective perception.
With Mercury squaring Neptune- a transit that can lead to distorted thinking and confused communications coupled with Mars opposite Pluto- this is not a time to engage and whenever possible, regroup instead of heading into battle.
You may not see the full picture. If you feel threatened, try to step back and see the bigger picture- you may be not seeing clearly.
If war is unavoidable- maintain your high moral ground and enlist the help of likeminded people.
Clarity will return once these transits complete- keep strong boundaries and try to ride out the wave.
Venus in Cancer can sometimes feel like an exposed nerve, the soft underbelly- tender and vulnerable.
Feelings of devotion run deeply, but can result in triggered feelings and taking things too personally. This is a time to focus inwards- to listen to your heart and intuition- to connect with the vulnerable inner child.
There will be more than enough time to be outwardly expressive when Venus enters Leo- so just for now, take the time to turn your healing light within.
