When we are not aware, not truly aware, things around us become cloudy, vague, unclear. Our bodies and our minds are in different places in time and space. The body may be in the present, but the mind lingers in the past, or planning for the future.

When we focus on the living breath, breathing in and out with concentration, we become aware of what is happening around us. We become available to the moment… we become available to those who love us… we become available to ourselves.

Be present, be mindful, be awake, be aware.
